We started the session where the weeping willows grow along the Rock River. The kids were so cute together!  Those candid moments always end up being some of my favorite photos.  They capture childhood so honestly.

As we moved around the park, the late afternoon light filtered through the trees and danced on the water, giving us a warm golden glow.

One of the highlights of photographing at Riverside Park is how relaxed families feel. There’s space to play, laugh, and just enjoy being together. At one point, the kids started running through the grass while mom and dad held hands and watched.  I couldn’t help but snap away. Those in-between moments tell the story of a family just as much as the posed photos.

By the end of the session, we had captured a mix of playful candids and heartfelt portraits, all framed by the beauty of one of the most loved Janesville parks. The park truly added a touch of magic to this family’s story.
