Families looking for newborn photography in Janesville, Beloit, Madison, and Southern Wisconsin often reserve their session before baby arrives. When you contact us to schedule your newborn session, please include the due date or birthdate of your baby. Planning ahead prior to birth is the best way to ensure a session slot and set up payment arrangements. If your baby has been born, lets get them in asap. To accomplish several of these popular newborn poses, we recommend photos to be done prior to 2 weeks of age, but I have still found success with newborns as old as 6-8 weeks, each newborn is unique.
1. Say Hello
Do you know the due date of your baby? Great! Reach out to check general availability & get any questions answered. We'll then send the information for you to select your newborn collection, pay the deposit and it's that easy! Once your little bundle of joy has arrived or you have a scheduled induction date we can officially schedule your photo session date and time to insure we fall in the recommended 1-2 weeks of age.
2. Schedule it
We offer several collections to meet your budget. Please reach out as soon as possible to confirm your due date has availability then you'll be able to choose your collection and pay the deposit.
Once you've delivered your bundle of joy, or have set a date to do so, connect with us to schedule a date and time that works best for you and your family via phone, email or social media.
3. Planning it
We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to your session to get settled. We can then have a moment to discuss any requested props or sets and choose any necessary wraps and backdrops.
Your newborns mood will guide the session and requires ample patience & I appreciate your trust in our process & listening to any safety protocols or guidelines we may have to offer.
4. Your Session
Once the photoshoot is complete, we'll schedule your photo viewing appointment approximately 1-2 weeks from your session. Each photo is then hand edited for quality and blemish removal &
you'll be scheduled to return to the studio to view an artistic slideshow of your images made to music and have the chance to order any additional images, prints or products before returning home with the images from your very first professional photoshoot as a brand new family
